Controls Drag the steering wheel left or right to turn. Hold GAS to accelerate. Double-tap GAS and hold to activate nitrous whenever charge is available. Hold BRAKE to slow down; continuing to hold at a stop engages reverse. DRIFT is the handbrake. CAMERA cycles chase, wider chase and cockpit views. RECOVER returns the car to a road. Pause stops your local controls; online participants can continue.

Playing Race live joins the shared racing rooms. Vacant places fill with computer rivals. Race solo · ranked verifies your inputs and publishes completed results. Practice does not publish results and works offline; online practice uses fresh leaderboard-informed bot targets. Explore Sandton is a shared free-drive district for up to ten players. It has no laps or ranked times. A full world opens a place only when someone leaves, disconnects or an unused reservation expires. Switching away from the app leaves free drive.

Room chat Tap CHAT in a live room, the Sandton world or live race results. Chat pauses your driving controls while the room continues. Send up to 180 characters; double-tap is not needed. Use message actions to Block or Report. Blocked players can be unblocked in the chat sheet. For urgent abuse or a report follow-up, use the contact options on Shudu’s website and include the room and approximate time; never share session tokens.

Leaderboard Choose Rookie, Club or Pro. Each racer has a best time for Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Durban; the board shows the average. New native results use the native leaderboard. Web and native players can race together in live rooms.

Troubleshooting If ranked verification reconnects, keep the app open until it confirms publication. If a multiplayer connection ends, return home and join again. If Sandton is full, leave the home screen open to see its count refresh and try again when a place is available. You can always play Practice if the online service is unavailable.
